IIW International Welding Inspector Basic (IWI B)

  • Perform allocated welding and welding-related inspection activities
  • Be responsible for the satisfactory completion of tasks allocated and be authorised to sign on behalf of the organisation where delegated to.

This 5 day course will give the opportunity to gain a general knowledge of welding and inspection theory and application.
This will include NDT, mechanical and visual inspection techniques, inspection procedures and acceptance criteria, identification of weld imperfections associated with pre-production, fabrication and post fabrication, and more.

Exams are not conducted as part of the course but are required to be booked separately, contact us for details.
