In keeping with its aim to promote the interests of its members and to aid in driving Australian industry forward, WTIA run a wide range of events designed to support current industry needs and areas of interest.
Seminars and workshops give attendees the opportunity to learn about niche subject areas from experts.
Conferences & forums are an opportunity to exchange ideas, share information and work together on key issues affecting Australian industry. They also provide a valuable opportunity to network with leaders in a variety of fields.
WTIA State Divisions host regular technical visits, presentations and other events throughout the year.
Technical visits frequently grant access to WTIA members that is ordinarily not available, offering a ‘behind-the-scenes’ look, for example, at some of the country’s leading fabricators, engineering companies, shipbuilders and research facilities.
State Divisions also host social events 2 – 3 times per year, giving members an opportunity to get together and have an informal ‘catch-up’.
